Week 1.

Genesis 6:7 (KJV) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Exodus 13:17 (KJV) And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

Exodus 32:14 (KJV) And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Please read and explain in "short sentences."

GOD repented; He changed his mind

Janet08 June, 2017The wickedness of men's heart led them to sin and err from God's commands. With regret he decided to clean the earth of them. God freed the Egyptians with much force. He did not want them to return to Egypt by seeing bloodshed. He had them go the long way so they would not forget how His Mighty hand delivered them. Once again the Egyptians were rebellious, unthankful. God had remorse and decided to cut them off. Moses reminded Him of the covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac and Israel (Jacob). He spared them with unmerited favor.
